Hyperdyne Software makes tools that find adult and inappropriate content on Windows PCs. Snitch is for the computer in your house. PinPoint Auditor takes the same detection engine into schools, businesses, government departments and border control, where it is used to audit machines at scale.

Why the scan stays local

A tool that looks for this kind of material handles the most sensitive data on a machine. Uploading it — even to analyse it — would create a copy somewhere else, and that copy would be someone else's problem to secure. So we do not. The detection engine runs on your own hardware, using your graphics card if you have one. No account is needed to run a scan, and the software works with the network cable unplugged.

Why you review before anything is deleted

No detector is perfect, and one that deleted files on its own judgement would eventually delete something it should not have. Snitch shows you what it found, ranked with the most serious first, and tells you why each result was flagged. You decide. Every removal is confirmed and itemised before it happens.

Version 5

Version 5 replaces the previous detection approach with an AI engine that recognises what is actually in an image or video frame, and scores it by how exposed the content is rather than by how confident the detector was. In practice that means the results that matter are at the top of the list instead of buried among sharp but innocent photographs. It is in development now.
